About the Search For Meaning Podcast

I met some of the most interesting people on my journey of self-discovery in ceremonial retreats this past year. I was fortunate enough to hear the stories of people's lives I could never have imagined possible to have lived and witnessed the strength and humanity that came as a result.

I learned the power of sharing a tale of a life well lived.

One man's story becomes another man's lesson. I looked for lessons in my life that I thought I must learn from, only to discover that we all live a life. Where one of us has failed, it can be the cost of many of us succeeding.

I met people who have lived very hard lives, but through sharing their stories. They helped many more people go on to live a life of abundance.

After all the inspiring encounters, I felt compelled to create a platform for people to share their stories. I have little technical skills. I can't edit films or audio. I'm hardly a Scorcese or Spielberg.

I tried to start this podcast multiple times over many years. I constantly battled the inner voice questioning. "Can you even do this? Are you good enough?".

While I didn't silence this nagging voice, I decided to act in defiance of it. I will produce and learn as I go. The destination is a result of the journey.

So here we are, The Search For Meaning Podcast. A never-ending quest for life's meaning and purpose with some friends to share the load along the way.

We have communities and support groups where we can share our journey. While not every conversation may make it to the podcast, it doesn't mean they haven't happened.
